wit incorporated is thrilled to host a mixed bag of theatre-makers every Sunday, at Bluestone Church Arts Space. Writers, directors and actors come together to build creative skill through collaboration, experimentation, hard work and artistic discourse.
This is not class. There is no teacher. It's an opportunity to work, even when you're not working.
You might put up a scene you're working on, an exercise, a song, a monologue, or something else that will help you hone your skills. You can just come along and spend some time with us. You might even see some rehearsal of whatever show we're working on.
We operating a 'pay what you can' system. We depend on your contribution to cover the cost of the venue and insurance, but we understand it's not always possible for working actors to stump up the cash. Just bring along a fiver, or whatever change is in the bottom of your bag, and toss it in the jar when you get here.
If you have something in particular you'd like to work on, get in touch and book a time. Otherwise, come along and jump in when other people need bodies or voices. It's always a good idea to have something with you, just in case we have more time than expected.
