wit incorporated is a professional, independent theatre company based in Melbourne's inner-west. We create sustainable, accessible theatre that is inspired by the community in which we work.

The company was founded in 2014 by Company Manager Jennifer Piper and Artistic Director Belinda Campbell. There are currently four company members, from a range of disciplines, who make up this incredible team.

In 2017, wit incorporated committed to representation in their work – on and off stage. That means that we actively seek new opportunities to work with actors and theatre-makers of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, sexuality, gender status and physical and mental ability. We're also excited about creating new opportunities for emerging theatre-makers.

We run a series of outreach programs, including our Sundays at the Church artist program and Wit Kids children's drama classes.

wit incorporated makes theatre on the land of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge that the land on which we meet and work is the place of age-old ceremonies of celebration, initiation and renewal. It is land that was never ceded. The Kulin people's living culture had and has an unique role in the life of these regions.

We pay out respects to Elders past, present and future, and to Elders from other communities who may be here today.
