Lauren Bok

Lauren Bok is an award-winning comedian from Melbourne with over 8 years experience in performance, radio and TV. She does mimes, burlesque, stand up and silly voices.

Along the way she's enjoyed multiple sold-out shows, rave reviews, best-newcomer lists (Pedestrian.tv and Broadsheet) was nominated for the Golden Gibbo at MICF 2019 and won Best Emerging Artist at Adelaide Fringe 2016, as well as writing for SBS Comedy and The Age.

Laura Buskes is Assistant Artistic Director of The Improv Conspiracy Theatre. She joined the company in 2013 and has been teaching and performing regularly for the last six years. Before she joined the theatre she was an avid stage performer who studied music theatre, clowning, dramatic arts and dance. An all-round theatre geek who loves sharing her passion with others, she could chew your ear off with her fascination with comedy.

Seb Muirhead

Seb is an actor and martial artist who originally hails from Scotland. He has eight years of experience with martial arts, including both grappling and striking disciplines. As well as his martial arts experience, he has training in stunts and fighting on screen, along with choreographing past theatre shows such as ‘Red Hollywood’.

Ellen O'Connor

Ellen O’Connor is an independent artist with a multidisciplinary practice incorporating writing, directing, producing and acting. Within their practice they are interested in carving out space for artists to make work that is essential to them, and for audiences to have access to fresh, new theatre. Throughout their career they have predominantly worked with new writing including comedy, drama and musicals. Ellen has a BA in English and Cultural Studies from the University of Western Australia, and studied the Meisner technique under Scott Williams with Impulse Company London. Credits: as director: Softly, Softly (Quiet Roar, 2021), When God Met Satan (Perth International Comedy Festival, 2013), Pity (Fringeworld, 2013). As writer: Burning Woman (R&D, 2018), Fire (WA Youth Theatre Company, 2013), Soho Young Writers’ Programme (Soho Theatre, 2014). As actor: Flooded (earth, Lyric Hammersmith 2017), phroot sahlad (Lyric Evolution, Lyric Hammersmith, 2017), Who Cares (Royal Court, 2015).

Sass Pinci

Sass Pinci

Sass is a Melbourne based Actor, Singer, Musician and Vocal Coach.

An accomplished multi-instrumentalist and trained classical and contemporary singer, she has worked as a Soloist, Session Musician, Composer, Voice Over Artist and actor for over 20 years.

After studying classical voice with Brian Hansford at The University of Melbourne, Sass spent many years teaching vocal technique and is a passionate advocate for vocal health. Performing recording and touring from a young age, Sass understands the demands placed on a performing artist and believes in cultivating a strong and healthy instrument that is geared to work with authenticity and flexibility.

On competition of the Full Time Program in 2017, Sass was handpicked by David Coury under his mentorship to join the faculty of Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia.

Jennifer Piper

Jennifer Piper

Trained at WAAPA and UWA Jennifer is an actor, writer, designer and director. She is co-founder and Company Manager of Wit Incorporated theatre company. Her work gazes adoringly at feminism, sexuality, gender and neurodivergence, as they rummage around in their pockets looking for their shared identity.

JP loves taking characters from our theatrical canon, created by old white dudes for old white dudes and making them her own: including Doug (Cosi), Banquo (Macbeth), and Sherlock Holmes. In 2018, JP brought the house down as Tiggy, Teresa and Zoe in Bombshells, then terrified the lot as The Queen in Ophelia Thinks Harder.

Jennifer designs (set, lighting and graphic) for most of of Wit Incorporated’s productions, has performed in Ophelia Thinks Harder, Bombshells, Outside In, A Scandal in the Weimar, Macbeth, Couch Potato and Cosi, and directed Fairy Tale News and A Hero’s Guide to Saving the Planet.

Jennifer has performed for Melbourne Shakespeare Company, Key Conspirators and Sly Rat Theatre Co. and provides mentoring and support to Fringe artists programmed at Bluestone Church Arts Space. JP takes great joy both in writing new theatre and in working with other writers to develop and refine their own creations.

JC Jacinta Scadden

JC Jacinta Scadden

Jacinta Scadden (she/they) completed a Bachelor of Performing & Screen Arts in 2012 and Master of Screenwriting in 2019. They have written, directed, produced and acted in numerous short films and theatre plays. Jacinta's interest in Intimacy Coordination first sparked in 2018 after an introductory course. They are currently working towards becoming an accredited Intimacy Coordinator.

Phoebe Anne Taylor

Phoebe Anne Taylor

Phoebe Anne Taylor is a Melbourne-based actor, writer and photographer. She has a Bachelor Degree in Arts with first class Honours (Creative Writing and Performance Studies) from both the University of Melbourne and Monash University, and completed the inaugural Full Time tuition at Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia in 2012. She was a founding member and founding co-artistic director of Melbourne's theatre collective North of Eight. She is a producer for production company Incognita Enterprises, having also served as co-producer for their award winning and internationally acclaimed third season of Shakespeare Republic, of which she is also a returning ensemble member. Phoebe became an alumni of the Arteles Creative Centre in Finland, having completed the Silence, Awareness, Existence residency in 2019. She was also a runner up for the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Writing Prize in 2020. Phoebe has performed extensively in Melbourne, particularly in fringe and site-specific theatre experiences, but perhaps was most honoured to be supported by La Mama Theatre for her work the art of f**king in 2014. For more than a decade, Phoebe has focused on specialising in vocal technique and has worked intensely on developing her vocal and performance skills with mentor Stephen Costan. She is also a trained singer in both classic and contemporary styles.

Creatrix Tiara (pronouns: 'Tiara' or they/them) gets up to shenanigans. Tiara has produced, performed, written, and created work that explores liminality, community, and identity - from a queer feminist stage magic and storytelling show to a game about the tediousness of immigration and much more. Currently Tiara is working on hosting a Fringe Festival on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. creatrixtiara.com

Genevieve

Genevieve

Genevieve is a theatre practitioner who uses Bouffon, Drag and physical comedy to examine the significance of social masks within theatrical frameworks. Her complex narratives enable audiences to connect/relate universally to colloquial stories. She is a Lecoq trained performer and teacher with extensive training in Commedia dell’Arte, who has toured to many a Fringe and Arts Festivals around Australia, and worked with theatre companies across Australia, Italy and Belgium.
