In 2025/26, Wit presented Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again., a bold and thought-provoking production that brought local artists together to explore contemporary ideas around gender, power and identity. The production provided opportunities for artists to collaborate and develop their practice while inviting audiences in Melbourne’s west to experience ambitious, relevant theatre close to home. Presented across local venues, the season brought artists and audiences together through a shared experience of challenging, engaging and joyful theatre.

Scratch That - Work In Progress

In 2025/26, Scratch That continued to grow as a relaxed and supportive platform for artists to experiment, share new ideas and develop original work. The program brought emerging and established creatives together with audiences in an informal setting, creating opportunities to test new material, receive feedback and connect with the local creative community. Hosted in the west, Scratch That also helped activate a local venue and bring artists and audiences together through a shared celebration of new work.

Wit Kids Drama program

In 2025/26, Wit Kids continued to grow as a creative community for young people, with increasing participation across our weekly classes and school holiday programs. Children continued to build confidence, imagination and collaboration through drama, improvisation, storytelling and performance, while developing their own creative ideas. The program also expanded its opportunities for young people to share their work, with performances throughout the year bringing families and the wider community together to celebrate their creativity and growth. Wit Kids remains a welcoming and accessible space where young people can express themselves, build skills and experience the joy of theatre.

Sundays With Wit

In 2025/26, Workshops with Wit continued to support artists in Melbourne’s west through accessible, practical professional development opportunities led by experienced industry practitioners. The program created a welcoming space for emerging and established artists to learn new skills, exchange ideas and connect with others across the creative community. With a focus on affordable and inclusive participation, the workshops encouraged artists to build confidence, strengthen their practice and continue developing their creative work.
